Superior Appliance Repair - San Diego's #1 licensed appliance repair service

    Terms & Conditions

Before our technician begins any work, please review and familiarize yourself with our Terms & Conditions. Your agreement to have our technician begin work confirms that you accept all terms and conditions outlined below.

    Non-Refundable Diagnostic Fee

A non-refundable diagnostic fee will be charged for all non-warranty service visits to your location, whether residential or commercial. This fee will be clearly communicated to you before our visit and covers the costs associated with travel and diagnostic services provided by our certified technician.

By accepting our service, you agree to:

    • Pay the diagnostic fee in full, regardless of whether repairs are performed
    • The diagnostic fee will be credited toward the total cost if you proceed with recommended repairs or replacements

    Service Estimate

The price quote provided details the estimated cost of parts and services required to repair your appliance. By accepting our service, you agree to the quote terms and scope of work. Sales tax is included where applicable.

    Limited Warranty

We guarantee that all repairs, parts, and services provided will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for ninety (90) days from the date of service or part installation. If you discover a defect within this period, please notify us promptly in writing. Our liability is limited, at our discretion, to replacing defective parts or workmanship, or refunding the amount paid for the service and parts. All warranty claims are subject to inspection and approval.

    This warranty does not cover:

    • Commercial or industrial appliance repairs
    • Cosmetic or non-functional components including glass, trim, handles, panels, shelving, tanks, tubs, baskets, structural elements, doors, door linings, and shelves
    • Water supply lines to appliances, whether replaced or recommended for replacement
    • Appliances moved from their original repair or installation location
    • Appliances for which manufacturers no longer produce replacement parts

Warranty coverage requires full payment of all amounts due under the applicable price quote.

    Limitation of Liability

Superior Appliance Repair is committed to providing exceptional service quality. While we maintain the highest standards of care and professionalism, we cannot be held liable for special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages resulting from breach of warranty, breach of contract, negligence, or any other legal theory related to our service agreement. Our total liability for damages is limited to the amount paid by you for the service.

    Complete Agreement

This Agreement, comprising these General Terms & Conditions and each service order, represents the complete understanding between Superior Appliance Repair and you. It supersedes all prior or concurrent agreements, representations, or communications, whether written or oral.

Release of Liability - Appliance Relocation

Please note that moving appliances may result in damage to the appliance itself or surrounding areas including flooring, cabinetry, and countertops. While technicians are not required to relocate appliances, if they elect to do so for service purposes, you agree to release both the technician and Superior Appliance Repair from any liability for damages that may occur during relocation.

Release of Liability - Plumbing Connections

By authorizing our technician to begin work, you agree not to hold the technician or Superior Appliance Repair responsible for any damages or liabilities resulting from leaks or flooding caused by appliances connected to plumbing systems, except in cases of proven negligence. You waive the right to pursue claims in such circumstances.

Release of Liability - Refrigeration Equipment

Refrigeration equipment repairs involve complex components that may fail unexpectedly, potentially resulting in food spoilage, discomfort, inconvenience, and financial loss in commercial settings. By engaging our services, you acknowledge these inherent risks and release Superior Appliance Repair, its agents, and employees from liability for such outcomes. Once service begins, you explicitly waive the right to pursue related claims.

Release of Liability - Glass Cooktop Service

By authorizing service, you acknowledge that glass or ceramic cooktop surfaces may break when lifted to access components below, due to strong adhesive bonding. While technicians exercise appropriate care, you agree that neither the technician nor Superior Appliance Repair bears responsibility for such breakage. You release Superior Appliance Repair, its agents, and employees from liability and waive the right to pursue claims related to this matter.
